Cold ears warm heart

I don't know why but it's the ears that get me all the time.

I have these wrap around things called "180's" that wrap around the back of your head and cover up your ears. Like ear muffs but from behind.

If I have my ears covered then I'm good...except for the hands...gotta keep the hands warm. And it was biting cold for me today with the pups. Nothing a good warm soy chai latte couldn't fix though.

For me it is the ears, hands, and nose...when my nose is cold, it IS cold. I was thinking, it must be hard getting up every morning to take the pups out at the time of day when the weather is the coldest...'burrr'...what we, indeed, do for our pets...

It has been cold these last few days here in NYC. Today I backed out on doing after school, just so I wouldn't have to be outside with the kids for 2 1/2 hours in the freezing cold. So much better to be nice and warm inside my tiny apt. !

I had to walk clear across campus today, and by the time I got to class I was an absolute mess, what between my runny nose, iced ears, and numb fingers. And, because I was running late, I didn't even have my morning coffee to warm/wake me up. We're suffering here in Ohio, too! :P
