A Tale of Two Cities TV commercial
We're shooting the TALE television commercial today. It's going to be a looooooong day for us. The call time is 9am which wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have a show the night before... or a show later tonight.
From what I can see from the shot list (the list of things that the TV Director plans to shoot) it looks like it's going to be a pretty spectacular spot.
TV is quite different than theatre as you can imagine. We'll have cameras onstage with us throughout the shoot and we'll probably "tweak" the blocking of the scenes we shoot so that they better fit a TV format.
So.. look for the commercial soon.
I'll make sure to post a note if I know when it's going to air.

Now I can see and hear you in "A tale of two cities". It seems incredible, but you have performed my two favourite characters: Mr. Rochester and Sydney Carton. And you are the best for me.
Last January I wrote to Ron Sharpe to ask him if you sang in some new CD, because you are not in the recording that appears in the official page. On the other hand, "If dreams came true" sounds better when you sing it. Finally, I want to know if it will be a DVD of the Broadway show too.
Thank you for your attention and I wish you the best.
However, I thought Tv commercials were just taken from the show live and not particularly shoot, though...
maybe I'm just new to this world :)
Thank you for your post, it is always nice to read you!
